The 61-year-old could spend the rest of his life in prison. He admitted to shooting Martin Rodriguez in the neck last year, during a dispute over Wiley's loud TV. Rodriguez is permanently paralyzed.
Wiley testified in his own defense, saying Rodriguez was charging at him, so he closed his eyes and pulled the trigger.
Rodriguez's family members cried out in court at the "not guilty" verdict. They complained that it's still possible for Wiley to walk free before he dies, while Rodriguez will never walk again.
