20-year-old Julio Garcia is accused of putting a bong to his baby's mouth, right after he smoked out of it. The baby's mother was also arrested for not stopping it. A witness, who was inside their apartment when the incident occurred, called police.
Lt. Todd Dearing said, "It's the whole environment of the child being around the marijuana smoking on a daily basis, that's also a part of this case of endangering a child."
The couple is still in police custody. They could spend up to two years in jail for child endangerment if convicted.
Police say the baby is doing okay, now under the care of his grandparents.
