Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne's genome is going to be mapped and it will be done using technology developed by Foster City based Applied Biosystems.

Researchers want to examine the 61-year-old prince of darkness's genetic makeup, to find out why he's been able to survive his sex, drugs and rock 'n roll lifestyle.

The genetic test will provide insight into Ozzy's health and ancestry.
