Zombies celebrate the "Red, White and the Dead"

They may look scary but the zombies said their 'Red, White, and the Dead' march was actually an act of patriotism.

You see, they were trying to break a World Record currently held by British zombies.

While thousands of the living dead limped and dragged themselves through Seattle, others danced to Michael Jackson's zombie hit, Thriller.

Everyone has an inner zombie, and it's kind of a fun way to express themselves."

"People understand why zombies are so popular, so much so, that they'll come out and celebrate.

Organizers say more than 4,200 "registered zombies" showed up Saturday, about 200 more than the current record.

The number, and the World Record, should be verified after the Fourth of July holiday.
