Police identified the victims at 20-year-old Steven Acuna and his parents Gloria Acuna and Robert Acuna.

Chief Jerry Dyer said a neighbor called 911 from apartment number 204 -- an apartment upstairs from police found two of the victims. From that apartment, police found Steven Acuna lying on a balcony with a gun-shot wound to the chest.

In a downstairs apartment police found Steven's mother, 50-year-old Gloria Acuna, lying on the floor with a gunshot wound to her head. They also found 51-year-old Robert Acuna laying a few feet away. Robert was also shot in the head and still had a revolver in his hand.

Police also found a wedding portrait lying face down in the apartment near the bodies. When they turned over it over they found an inscription in black ink that said "R.I.P. 7/13/10" and a message, "I will always love you."

Police said Robert and Gloria were separated and Robert went to Gloria's apartment to reconcile, but they argued instead. Police believe Robert killed all three of them.

Police said Gloria had called them last year when Robert threatened to kill himself. They also responded to a domestic disturbance at the same apartment earlier this year, but there was no report on violence.
