LOS ANGELES His video for the song passed Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" to become the most-watched video on the site.

The video has been seen more than 246 million times on YouTube.

The 16-year-old singer sent a thank you to his fans on Twitter, pointing out that he was discovered on YouTube.

The 16-year-old pop star says it doesn't matter who gets the most hits. He is just glad he and Lady Gaga both have such loyal fans.
