Steven Ortiz of Glendora traded up from an old cell phone to a Porsche Boxster. He used Craigslist to make 14 online swaps over two years.
He traded that first phone for a better phone, which he then traded for an iPod Touch. The iPod for a series of dirt bikes, the dirt bikes for a Macbook Pro and the Macbook for 1987 Toyota 4Runner. The 4Runner for a golf cart. Then a more valuable dirt bike, then a streetbike, then a series of cars ending with a 1975 Ford Bronco.
The Bronco got him the Porsche -- since some older Broncos are considered collectibles.
