A judge has rejected a request to have actress Lindsay Lohan testify as part of a lawsuit challenging strip searches.

The lawsuit claims strip searches violate inmates' Fourth Amendment guarantee against unlawful searches.

Meantime, the American Civil Liberties Union is asking Lohan to post an open letter on its website to draw attention to conditions in jail.

The ACLU claims it has received thousands of complaints about the Lynwood facility where Lohan is being held.
