Michael Douglas has tumor, expects full recovery

Actor Michael Douglas has been diagnosed with throat cancer and will undergo chemotherapy.

Representatives for Douglas have confirmed to ABC News -- that doctors discovered a tumor in the Oscar-winning actor's throat.

A spokesperson says the 65-year-old is expected to make a full recovery ? and in a statement Douglas said he is very optimistic.

It's not clear if his treatment will affect the promotion of his latest movie, a sequel to the Oscar winning 1987 film "Wall Street"
