The driver didn't stop and that started a high speed chase which ended several minutes later in south Fresno at Elm and Church.
Three people inside the car tried to run from police and hide inside a nearby apartment complex. Police found the trio a short time later and one of them was injured.
Arley Terrence with the Fresno County Sheriff's Office said, "One of the suspects was injured. We're still trying to determine if that was from the crash at the termination of the pursuit when he fled over the fence or when he was resisting deputies."
An ambulance took the injured man to the hospital. The other two men are now at the Fresno County Jail.
