The shooting happened around 10 p.m. Sunday night on Duff and Washington Street in Reedley.
Reedley Police say two suspects approached the residence on foot and fired at least 10 shots with a high caliber weapon. They say the shooters fled on foot, then got into a dark compact car parked about a block away before speeding off.
The victims are described as two Hispanic males in their thirties. When officers arrived, one of the victims had suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was not breathing. He was transported to Sierra Kings Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
The second victim was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition after undergoing surgery.
