California man with cerebral palsy successfully climbs Yosemite's El Capitan

FRESNO, Calif.

Steven Wampler's team posted on his Facebook that he is at the top, making him the first ever with the condition to achieve this feat!

Wampler's grueling attempt started on Sunday. The 42-year-old made the trek along with a group of other climbers who are helped guide him using a system of ropes to haul himself up.

Wampler estimated that it would take him about 20-thousand pulls to reach the top.
