Fresno man killed by police was extremely drunk

FRESNO, Calif.

Officers say 23-year-old Rod Fiorini pointed a rifle at officers last Tuesday in Central Fresno. That's when investigators say seven officers and a sergeant fired off 63-rounds at Fiorini.

The coroner says the man had a blood alcohol level of .22 at the time he was shot. The legal limit for California drivers is .08. There was no evidence of other drugs in Fiorini's system.
