Firefighters extinguish a 2-alarm fire in north Fresno

FRESNO, Calif.

You can see the flames coming from the roof of Siegfried motors in north Fresno.

Cindy welsh lives nearby and watched as fire crews rushed to the scene. "There was flames shooting from the building and then the helicopter came and they were cutting open the roll up doors to get inside to see what else was going on in there." said Welsh.

12 vehicles sat inside the garage some were in better shape than others. Investigators are still trying to figure out what caused the fire but it looks like it started in the middle of the garage.

The shop's owner arrived around 9 P.M. Thursday night to assess the damage. Mike Riedelsheimer says he doesn't know where he'll go from here. "That's a good question. I've never been down this road. I don't know. I'll find out i guess." said Riedelsheimer

The fire caused $500,000 in damage.
