BREAKING NEWS: The three missing hikers have been found safe

FRESNO, Calif.

Park officials said the adult men from Omaha left to hike Mount Whitney in Sequoia National Park early Monday morning. They planned to return that night, but family members became concerned after they reached the top, but never came back down.

The three hikers are Phillip Abraham, Steven Filips, and Dale Clymens. Park officials didn't know if they were carrying supplies for overnight. About 45 search crews went out looking for them Wednesday, but were turned back because of near white-out conditions from a snowstorm.

There has not been any word on the condition of the men. A news conference was scheduled for 2pm in Omaha. We will update this story when we get more details.
