Saturday was the final day of a two day job fair at the Downtown Fresno Radisson. The jobs included guest services, accounting and food services.
China peak owner Tim Cohee says the sour economy is producing good candidates. "According to our staff who have been there at the resort 10, 20, 30 years they say this is by far the best group of people we've ever seen in all departments. So friendly, outgoing, anxious. Obviously the job market has a little to do with that."
China peak rehired 150 employees from last season. Owners say they received a good omen Saturday, they received an inch to an inch and a half of snow from Friday night's showers.
