Police say officers tried to pull over the driver of an SUV, but he sped away and crashed into another vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle wasn't injured -- but the SUV wound up in a canal.
Three people made it out okay but police and fire crews had to rescue a passenger. He was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries.
Police say the driver of the SUV is a wanted parolee.
