The restaurant and bar industries are adding a lot of jobs; up 34,000 more in the month of September alone. Industry analyst say because the economy is showing signs of improvement, more people are dining out. Because of holiday parties and functions, restaurants will need more help.
Delivery jobs see a spike around the holidays. Package delivery services add staff, including drivers and handlers, to help them deal with the deluge of holiday boxes. FedEx has a searchable database of jobs and you can apply online. DHL and UPS also have employment information available online.
