Police say the tragedy happened this morning at the Whispering Woods Apartments in Northeast Fresno near Fresno Street and Shaw Avenue. The Fresno Fire Department responded to a 911 call and upon arrival found a two-month-old girl that had died.
Fresno Police officers were on scene late Friday morning to begin their investigation. Police are calling the situation either accidental or sudden infant death syndrome.
