House fire in Downtown Fresno

FRESNO, Calif.

23 firefighters responded to the blaze. When they arrived, flames were shooting out of the roof -- some as high as thirty feet.

Fire officials say the windy weather posed a challenge for fire crews.

"The fire was under control within 5 minutes but because of the wind factor, it's creating a little problem with the attic and smoldering embers," Tony Escobedo said.

Everyone in the home made it out safely. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
