House fire in Central Fresno

Fresno Firefighters were called to the home on Yosemite near Nevada just after 1:15 a.m. Monday morning. When they arrived they found smoke coming from the home's attic. Firefighters were able to find the fire and stop the flames from burning to the rest of the home.

The man living in the home told firefighters his dog woke him up -- alerting him to the fire.

The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
