More than a dozen dogs rescued in Hanford

FRESNO, Calif.

These small, wire-haired dogs were scared - as they were being treated by Kings County Animal Services workers.

The owner of a dairy in Hanford found 28 dogs inside after one of his employees who lived in the trailer -- moved away.

Kings County Animals Services took sixteen -- while the dairy owner found homes for the other twelve.

The photos, given to Action News by Kings County Animal Services -- show just how bad the conditions were -- feces everywhere -- with no food or water.

Kings County Animal Services believes most of the dogs are related.
