The victim's body was found inside a mobile home off Cleveland Avenue near Tulare Street Wednesday night. He was sitting in a recliner with a large laceration to his upper torso. Detectives say there were no signs of forced entry, and it does not appear robbery was a motive. Instead, they believe the victim knew his killer. Now they're asking for the public's help finding the person responsible.

"We can't be everywhere -- we can't see everything," said Det. Sgt. Dino Lawson. "But the public does, and we need that help to solve this and get the individual behind bars."

Police say the victim's wife is in a convalescent home, and he lived alone.
