Goods stolen from Red Cross trailer

FRESNO, Calif.

Someone stole a trailer loaded with emergency feeding supplies from Red Cross headquarters near the Fresno Airport Wednesday night

The trailer was found yesterday a couple of blocks away, but half of the supplies were gone.

"This actual trailer was on call for deployment for flooding that's been happening down south in Tulare and Kern counties and so what this means is the red cross is temporarily unprepared for a disaster situation," Alex Villa said.

The missing goods include canned food, along with cooking and serving utensils, like pots and pans, along with containers. The loss is estimated to be around $2,000.

The Red Cross is hoping for donations to help re-stock the trailer.
