Russell Miller was taken into custody when his flight from Las Vegas landed in Boise.
Police say he smacked a 15-year-old boy with the back of his hand -- when he claims the boy refused to switch off his iPhone while the plane was taxiing for take-off.
The strike apparently left a mark on the boy's shoulder, though Miller says it was only a "tap." Miller was arrested and charged with misdemeanor battery.
