Fresno Police search for suspects in deadly crash

FRESNO, Calif.

Police say around 1 a.m. Wednesday morning a Chevy truck ran a red light on Ashlan and Golden state and crashed into a car, killing the driver.

Officers say two people in the truck ran away after the crash. Police think they could be injured.

"We don't know the bits and pieces ... we're here canvassing the area to see if anyone shows up and give us some information... they can help us assist with that," said Lt. Phil Cooley with the Fresno Police Department.

The Ashlan exit on the 99 was closed early Wednesday as well as Ashlan from Marty to Parkway as officers investigated. The roads have since re-opened.
