Biloxi police said Collins was arrested on Tuesday and being held early Wednesday on a $5,000 bond in a detention center in Gulfport.
It wasn't immediately clear if Collins had a lawyer.
In November, Collins left a scene of a minor auto accident in Jackson and was charged with a misdemeanor and fined $500.
Collins is married to Mary Anne Mobley, a former Miss America from Mississippi.
