Suspects responsible for 8 robberies arrested

Jose Miguel Rubio, 24, and Francisco Garcia, 18, and an unidentified juvenile were arrested Friday and Madera Police say they're responsible for at least eight armed robberies.

The robberies started in late November and two of the suspects were caught on surveillance cameras during a robbery on December 3 at the Madera Family Mart.

They are also suspected in a robbery at a Madera 99 Cent Store.

In both of the incidents, cameras caught the suspects pointing a gun at the cashier -- before taking off with cash.

Police say the suspects now face several charges, along with gang enhancements.
