It happened just after midnight north of Fresno Yosemite International Airport near Airways Boulevard in East Central Fresno.
A police spokesperson told Action News a warning light inside the chopper came on and the pilot decided to make the precautionary landing. No one was hurt.
This was the second precautionary landing for the Skywatch helicopter in recent months. In August, the helicopter had to land at a Central Fresno Elementary School -- also after a warning light came on. No one was hurt in that incident.
