Dense Fog Advisory Issued: January 24 at 9:55PM PST Expiring: January 25 at 1:00PM PST

* Visibility: Between one-quarter to one-half mile this afternoon ... then falling to 500 feet or less after dark.

* Timing: Dense fog will lift in some areas of the valley with hazy sunshine this afternoon ... then quickly reform after dark this evening and continue through midday Tuesday.

* Locations include: Bakersfield ... Visalia ... Hanford ... Lemoore ... avenal ... Corcoran ... merced ... Madera ... fresno ... Los banos ... coalinga ... Mendota.

* Impacts: Dense fog will make travel hazardous across much of the San Joaquin Valley ... especially in rural areas.
