FRESNO, Calif.

The Fresno Grizzlies, Triple-A affiliate of the 2010 World Champion San Francisco Giants, will hold their annual job fair at Chukchansi Park to fill open gameday positions for the 2011 baseball season. The job fair will take place on Saturday, February 5th from 10:00am to 12:00pm on the main concourse of the stadium.

The Grizzlies' 73-game home schedule will begin on April 5th and run through August 28th. Various employment opportunities include: ticket takers, guest services, security, box office, team store, video crew, Ovations food service, promotional team, housekeeping, lifeguards, bat boys, grounds crew and more. Ovations FanFare will be responsible for hiring food service employees, such as concessions and catering staff.

The Grizzlies and Ovations combine to employ roughly 350 gameday staff each season. While there are a number of returning employees, there are still many open positions that will be filled through the annual job fair.

"The ability to offer several hundred seasonal jobs to area residents is a great opportunity for the Grizzlies to give back to the Valley community," said Grizzlies President Chris Cummings. "Our gameday staff members are our direct connection to the fans, and we look forward to bringing friendly, excited team members in every year to help us make Grizzlies baseball the best experience possible."

Applicants should be fun, energetic and dependable, all while contributing to the fan-friendly environment and experience provided at Chukchansi Park. Those interested in attending should enter the stadium through Gate 2 on H Street. For more information please call the Grizzlies front office at 559.320.4487.
