Hundreds of exhibitors spent the day put the finishing touches on their displays. Organizers say all 14-hundred exhibit spaces have been filled. They're hoping the sunny weather expected this week will help attendance numbers surge past 100-thousand visitors.
Rick Rallston said, "The main thing is to make a presence get our product out there and hopefully increase sales that's the name of the game."
Lee Coito is the 2011 World Ag Expo Chairman, and he adds, "Just about every exhibitor has something new and they just continue to update their products."
Some of the newest agriculture products this year include a flag that helps farmers prevent flooding when irrigating their crops and a hoof treatment for cows to keep them clean.
The World Ag Expo starts Tuesday and runs through the 10th at the International Agri-Center in Tulare. Doors open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Thursday, the hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
