Lebaron Vaughn sentenced to 15-years to Life

Judge Wayne Ellison said he was speechless. He called it a "horrendous crime."

Seth Ireland died in January of 2009 after his mother's boyfriend beat him at his Southwest Fresno home.

Last month, Labaron Vaughn pleaded guilty to second degree murder. Prosecutors had been seeking a first degree conviction.

Sentencing for the victim's mother Rena Ireland was delayed Monday.
