Mayor Swearengin to hold town hall meeting

Mayor Swearengin will make brief introductory remarks before hearing directly from residents about any ideas or concerns they may have. Topics at the town hall meeting may include, but not be limited to, the City's budget, code enforcement, public safety, public works, and the delivery of service.

Each City Department will be represented to answer questions.

Councilmember Blong Xiong, who represents the council district where the town hall meeting will be held, also will participate in the event.

The Mayor's Community Advisory Panel was created to enhance citizen participation in civic affairs through the development of programs such as the Fresno Citizens Academy, town hall meetings, and other outreach efforts.
