Prayer circle for Madera woman in critical condition

Marion Walker, 22, of Madera suffered serious injuries.

Another passenger, 23-year old John "JW" Pardini died in that crash.

Monday night, about fifty of walker's friends and family members gathered near the downtown hospital's trauma unit to pray. Not too far from her room in intensive care.

People held candles and wore giraffe print ribbons -- one of Marion's favorite patterns.

Walker remains in critical condition suffering from serious head injuries.

Authorities say the driver of the car was drunk when he crashed into a light pole last week.

He's been charged with DUI and vehicular manslaughter.
