The $100 thousand prize will be divided among the Community Food Bank which will get $45 thousand and the Poverello House which will get $24 thousand.
The Salvation Army will get over $17 thousand and Catholic Charities will get $13 thousand.
Fresno was one of five cities to win the money through Walmart's "Fighting Hunger Together" Facebook campaign -- that asked users to click "like" for the city they supported the most.
The charity administrators say they sat down together and created a partnership to decide how the money would be used.
Fresno came in second place to Salt Lake City, Utah -- which won the grand prize of a $1 million.
