Golden Fundraiser for Fresno schools

The Fresno Coin Gallery is donating 10 percent of the value it pays for gold to Fresno County schools

Anyone who sells their gold at the gallery can pick which school receives a donation.

The promotion runs through March 12.

Last year the Coin Gallery and its customers raised $38,000 for Fresno County schools.

This year the goal in $70,000 to $100,000.

More than 250 schools in Fresno County received money last year for academic, arts, and athletic programs.
