ABC30 visits school for Read Across America

The goal is to teach children the importance of reading. Nancy had a chance to read earlier this week. And Friday, a few more familiar faces took part in the fun.

"Those flowers are so pretty said Amelia Budelia. We do have some figuring out to do she said."

Action News Court Reporter Corin Hoggard read to students at Lone Star Elementary School in Fresno County.

And earlier in the morning, Action News Anchor Matt Keller did something a little different.

He put the students to work having them read scripts from recent ABC30 newscasts.
