Ancient Grain Bar to debut at Fresno Food Expo

FRESNO, Calif.

Chocolatier Guy Debbas has been working on a new product called "The Ancient Grain Bar". It will debut at the Food Expo as a healthy alternative for his sweets-craving customers.

Show-goers can sample some unique treats such as fish-flavored beef jerky and gourmet chocolates, all made by local businesses. 150 food buyers from grocery stores around the world will be at the expo -- and Debbas hopes they will be pleasantly surprised.

"People skip over Fresno a lot of time when they're looking for product; they think it has to come from some exotic place. We have been proving for 25-years that we are the best in the world and we are in Fresno," said Debbas.

The Fresno Food Expo is open to the public Friday from 5pm to 9pm at The Grand, located at 1401 Fulton in Downtown Fresno. Tickets are $35-dollars in advance. No tickets will be sold at the door.
