It happened just before 11:30 p.m. Tuesday night at Barstow and Maroa. A police reconstruction team was trying to figure out what happened.
Officers say the driver of a pickup truck rear ended the mustang. One of the young women in back seat of the car was pinned inside. Rescuers cut the roof off the car to free her.
All of the women were taken to Community Regional Medical Center. Doctors have not released their conditions.
Police say the driver of the pickup truck was not hurt.
