A 4-month-old Black Lab mix was found in a dumpster in Tulare on Monday.
Workers at Valley Oak S.P.C.A. in Visalia -- say neighbors reported hearing whimpering coming from the trash container.
Tulare Animal Control Rescued the pup. Employees at the S.P.C.A. have named the dog "Cast Away"
He's now being cared for and nursed back to health before he's put up for adoption at the Valley Oak S.P.C.A. on Saturday.
