When the officers tried to pull the driver over he sped off. Officers finally caught up to the man when he crashed through an iron gate and almost into the front of a Church at El Monte and Orange in southeast Fresno.
After a brief chase on foot officers caught up to the suspect in an alley, where they used a tazer on the man and arrested him.
The charges the man faces are not yet known.
