Shaela Warkentin, 15, is a sophomore at Bullard High School.
On March 8, she was in a car accident at Maroa and Barstow that left her with major injuries to her face and skull.
Tuesday morning, Bullard High School and Hoover High School gathered for a prayer vigil for Shaela in front of Hoover High.
"She inspired others to be better and her family's in a time of need and we're willing to rise up to that need," Katie Arballo said.
"Shaela went to Bullard and as a lot of people know Bullard and Hoover were playful rivals, Battle of Barstow, and to see them put that aside and unite for our daughter, it's gotta be a God thing," Ken Warkentin said.
The students are raising money for Shaela's long-term care including selling bracelets and t-shirts.
