Police found 17-year-old Richard Contreras of Tulare dead in the street when they responded to calls of a shooting.
This is Tulare's second homicide of the year.
Nearly four hours later Tulare Police responded to a second shooting. Police say a man and two women were shot around 8:30 Thursday night on I Street near Inyo Ave in Tulare. They were taken to the hospital. Their conditions have not been released.
Police have no suspects and detectives are not certain if the two shootings are connected.
