Ben Stiller partners in NYC art auction for Haiti

NEW YORK

The actor is working with New York art dealer David Zwirner on a benefit auction called, "Artists or Haiti." The event is scheduled for Sept. 22 at Christie's auction house.

Artists who have donated works include Chuck Close, Paul McCarthy, Jasper Johns, Dan Flavin and Jeff Koons.

Auction officials say the proceeds will support nonprofit organizations such as Architecture for Humanity.

Stiller established the Stiller Foundation in 2010 to help promote the education and well-being of Haitian children. It is rebuilding four earthquake-damaged schools in Haiti.
