Around 1:00 p.m. a housekeeper at the Quality Inn found the man dead in a first floor hotel room.
Police say he has at least one gunshot wound. At this point they're calling the death 'suspicious.'
Police tell Action News the man checked into the hotel room Thursday.
Investigators are waiting for an autopsy to determine whether the death is a homicide or if the gunshot wound was self inflicted.
The man's name has not been released.
