Teen in China sells kidney for an Apple iPad

Reports from several Chinese newspapers say the 17 year old was given $3,100.00 by a broker who found someone to buy his kidney.

After the surgery, the teenager returned home with an iPad two and a laptop. But after his mother noticed a big scar on his body from the surgery, he confessed what he did.

Police are now helping the mother track down whoever was responsible.
