Ex-'Dog Herren thanks Red Wave Supporters

He came back to Fresno Sunday, in his words, to make amends. Herren spoke to a gathering at the River Church in northwest Fresno. Addicted to drugs for most his adult life, he was arrested multiple times until turning his life around. Now three years sober. Herren wanted to say thank you to Red Wavers for their undying support.

Herren recently wrote a book called "Basketball Junkie," in which he details his struggle with drugs during his basketball career. He also makes regular appearances in schools to relay his powerful message to children.
