Officers shut down two separate chop shops Wednesday afternoon, including one at San Pablo and Divisadero in Central Fresno.
Investigators say both locations were being used to strip down stolen cars before the parts were moved to another location. When they arrived, they say one suspect was actively taking apart a car.
Officers also shut down a second chop shop at a home near First and McKinley in Central Fresno.
