Navy Pilot Warren Tomlinson felt the 7-months pregnant belly of his wife, Amy, who is also in the Navy. The two hadn't seen each other since January.
Tuesday's homecoming had special meaning for many in Lemoore. The pilots were part of the 5,000 service members on board the U.S.S. Carl Vinson.
After Osama bin Laden was killed by Navy Seals in Pakistan, his body was brought to the carrier and later buried at sea.
The Lemoore families were excited the pilots came home just in time for Father's Day.
Warren Tomlinson said, "It's fantastic. I haven't seen her since January so it's quite a change obviously and it's so nice to be back."
Warren's nephew, Christian Angier said, "We actually are going to do a couple things after we get home. We're going to go to San Francisco, Carmel by the sea we're going to do a lot of things once he gets home."
Wednesday, Lemoore Naval Air Station will welcome back 600 more sailors returning home from the Carl Vinson.
